The BADT National Conference 2019!

Dear members and guests,

After a very successful and well received 2018 conference held in Oxford, we hope to see many of our regular and new delegates attending our fourth boutique-style conference at Crown Plaza Liverpool on Friday 13th & Saturday 14th September 2019.

As the role of the Dental Therapist continues to evolve and expand, it is important to consider the pathway of minimally invasive dentistry and how a dental therapist can consider the benefits and implications of patients looking for further extensive treatment.

‘Minimalism; Less is More’ is our focus for 2019 with an expert line up featuring Prof Callum Youngson on the destruction of traditional porcelain cosmetic intervention versus today's minimal intervention, Dr. Ian Dunn discussing perio-complications of extensive restorative treatment and Dr. Linda Greenwall exploring tooth whitening, plus minimal invasive treatment for dental anomalies.

Other speakers include Dr Jane Lelean who will be looking at just how we as clinicians are to look after ourselves, also further speakers and rotational hands-on work stations to be announced, so watch this space! We are grateful to our Industry sponsors who will be in attendance on the 13th and 14th.

We look forward to seeing you in Liverpool for an exciting 48 hours.

Christopher Forrest
National Conference Coordinator
